Environmental Impact Assessment

Environmental Impact Assessment

""Assessing Today, Protecting Tomorrow – Comprehensive Environmental Impact Solutions.""

Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is a systematic process used to evaluate the potential environmental effects of a proposed project or development before it begins. The goal of an EIA is to identify, predict, and assess both positive and negative environmental impacts—including effects on air, water, soil, biodiversity, and local communities. It helps decision-makers, stakeholders, and the public understand the environmental consequences of a project and explore alternatives or mitigation measures to reduce harm. EIA is a key tool for promoting sustainable development and is required by law in many countries for projects like infrastructure, industrial plants, and large-scale land use changes.

Effective Services in EIA

  • Environment Clearance from the Central Committee (MoEF &CC) for ‘A’ Category projects & from State Committee for ‘B1’/’B2’ Category projects.
  • Preparation of application (Form-1, Prefeasibility report and related documents.)
  • Online submission of applications for EC as per EIA Notification, 2006 and its subsequent amendments on the PARIVESH Portal 2.0.
  • Environment Impact Assessment (EIA) / Environment Management Plan (EMP) for, Synthetic Organic Chemicals industry, Pesticides industry and pesticide specific intermediates (excluding Formulations)
  • Mining of minerals including opencast/ underground projects, (Approved Mining plan preparation for mining projects.)
  • Construction projects, township projects and area development projects, etc.
  • Technical discussion with Government Authorities (EAC/SEAC/SEIAA) with respect to the EC of the project.
  • Following additional studies to be undertaken while preparing EIA/EMP report: :
    1. Risk Assessment and Hazard Management (By using HIRA, ALOHA Software etc), 2. Life Cycle Assessment (By using SIMA-PRO Software), 3. Meteorology, air quality modeling and prediction (By using AERMOD Software), 4. Noise & vibration studies (By using CUSTIC Software), 5. Socio-economic study, 6. Hydrology, ground water and water conservation, 7. Traffic Study, 8. Ecology and biodiversity study, 9. Shadow and wind analysis, 10. Disaster management plans, 11. Energy Conservation Building Codes (ECBC), 12. Basement air cleaning, 13. Debris management report 14. Rain water harvesting 15. Ground water recharge etc..

  • Application for transfer/ name change of EC, corrigendum in EC, amendment in EC etc.
  • Certified compliance of existing EC from RO, MOEF & CC
  • Certified compliance of existing CTO from RO/SRO, SPCB
  • Greenbelt Development Plan with budgetary as per guidelines
  • Due Diligence Study /Environment Audit (Phase 1 and Phase 2 Environmental Site Assessment)
  • NIPL / CIPM clearance from SPCB. And many more…
