Smog is typically a type of air pollution caused by the tiny particles present in the air. As the name suggest it is the mixture of smoke and air. Smog is formed by the particulate matter present in the atmosphere mainly ground level ozone and fine particles emitted through the fossil fuels from automobiles, construction activities and power plants. The yellowish or blackish fog can be described as the mixture of various gas, dust and vapours present in the atmosphere. Not only it creates haze and reduces the visibility but it is also the root cause of various bronchial and heart diseases, cause difficulty in breathing Smog is formed when sunlight and heat react with the fine particles released into atmosphere through burnt fuels. The complex photochemical reactions between the precursors like volatile organic carbons, Sulphur dioxides and nitrogen oxides release the ground level ozone and fine particles in the air. The antismog guns play a crucial role in the elimination of smog. The antismog guns are designed to solve the problem of air pollution simply by spraying atomized water into the atmosphere by creating an artificial mist that clears the dust and polluted particles from the atmosphere.
